Beach Babe

We had a ball in Gulf Shores! The week is never long enough and before we know it, it's time to come home. While we were at the beach, Anna Kate *very much* enjoyed the water. The first day we were there, the water was really cold for July. So cold that most of the family didn't get in the water....except for Anna Kate, Mike and me.

That's Brady, my second cousin (my mama's cousin's son). Brady and I are 3.5 weeks apart--he's born in March. I loved having a playmate at the beach!

Never ceases to amaze me...

Anna Kate surprises me everyday. Something new. Sometimes not good, but most of the time it is. Yesterday wasn't one of the good things. I find Anna Kate with one of her selt belt straps IN HER HAND! and tapping to the red release button with her other hand. HOLY MOLY!! My heart sank--I can only imagine how long she had been riding in the car like that.

Personally, I love the "leg over the side, but act like I don't know what's going on" look.
