Easter

Happy Easter! It was a sweet and rather quiet Easter for our crew. They had beautiful pink Feltman Brothers dress to wear, thanks to their paternal grandparents (thank you Frank and Lori!)

The Easter Bunny brought the girls all sorts of fun stuff, including a table and chair set (see picture), and sandbox with toys (pictures to follow). As you can see, Alex is enjoying a piece of candy she found in her basket.

Alex's Birthday

Guess who is 1!! This past year has just flown so quickly! Alex was sick just a few days before her birthday so we decided to wait for her Disney celebration. So we had cake and presents for her at home on her birthday.

I'm still having problems with the sequence of pictures, but they are at least posted :). The PJ pictures of first thing that morning...Alex enjoying a chocolate muffin and 'helping' mama with the dishes. The rest are of her party...pretty self-explanatory! We had a great time and Alex got lots of sweet birthday gifts!

March 2010

Here are a few highlights of March...I am having trouble rearranging the order so bear with me.

Alex has learned to push a few things around to climb up on....she pushed Anna Kate's potty so she could try to get in the tub. Not sure why, since she is NOT a fan of taking a bath!

ReRe came to see us during her spring break. We had a ball with her...wished she could have stayed longer. I know the picture of her and the girls with Pooh Bear is blurry, but you can't mistake their smiles :). We miss her now....

The one of Anna Kate in the blue stripe dress is during the first Friday party hosted by the downtown association every month. Anna Kate loved the flower corsage made for her :).

Rise and Shine!!

Rise and Shine! It's time to go! We had a great time walking around Lake Hollingworth for Rise and Shine, a benefit for Achievement Academy, Anna Kate's school.

We found Katie, one of Anna Kate's classmates, at the walk, as well as the GEICO gecko. She kept calling it an alligator :).

A special thank you our family for sponsoring Anna Kate. She raised almost $300!

Catching up!

I think I have all of February posted...on to March! Before I know it, I'll have gotten caught up and hopefully stay up to date!

Tomorrow morning is the "Rise and Shine" walk event for Anna Kate's school. She raised almost $300! Thank you so much to our sweet family and friends who sponsored her. Sunday is Mike's birthday....we are looking forward to a fun filled weekend!

Catching up! Anna Kate and Alex -- February 2010

I'll save Anna Kate's birthday for another post, but here are the girls this past February. Once I get all caught up, it will be my goal to post at least once a week. Hey, that's much better than my hiatus, huh?

So here goes Feb 2010....

Valentines day....Sisterly love :)....

Alex gets her first pair of 'real' shoes--Stride Rite! She's been walking for about 6 weeks at this point. Yes, she started walking at 9.5 months.

Looks like we have a budding gardner in the family. Definitely doesn't get the green thumb from her mama.
