First Gymboree Art Class

Today was Anna Kate's first Gymboree Art Class. During the summer, we can attend all the age appropriate classes, including the gym, art and music classes. Considering Anna Kate can't spend any time outside playing, we are taking full advantage of five days of indoor, air conditioned fun!

Today, Anna Kate played with Play dough (not a big fan of that) but liked the tools, made a ladybug bowl, crafted a handprint butterfly...and scroll down to see her masterpiece!

She loved playing with the paints! She would squish it in her hands and loved to smoosh any paint bubbles with her fingers. And yes, the paint was everywhere...the table, the chair, inside her smock, on mama. Glad I was wearing dark purple shirt! I had plans to run errands after this class...NOT!! Both of us had to change clothes after this.

Also to clarify: For my UT Vol family and friends: Our teacher said this was Gator Orange, not Vol Orange :P!!!!
