All I want for Christmas....

is for Anna Kate to be croup-free!! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Anna Kate has the croup! She had the start of the imfamous "seal barking" around 10pm last night; we called the pediatrician on-call (who happened to be HER doctor, Dr. W!!) and he called a Rx in for her. At 2.43am, the full fledge croup cough was in effect :(.

So, yes, our plans for Christmas have changed! Dr. W said that she needs to be cough and fever free for 24 hours. She's not there yet (as expected) but after Christmas Day, we should be in better shape.

Anna Kate is doing better than I expected. This is the third time this year she's gotten the croup :(, so we are almost pros at this. In the past, her Rx has made her a bit irritable (to say the least!!) but seems to be doing ok this go at it. We still have 3 more doses to go, so things can change!

So, Santa, would you consider anothe stop at our house on Christmas, and this time bring Anna Kate a croup-free holiday!!!
