Long weekend....

Mike took a vacation day on Friday so that we could get a jump start on a weekend landscaping project we have been planning. Anna Kate had other plans in mind.

After being observed for Roseola for three days, we find out Saturday morning, Anna Kate's high fever is attributed to STREP THROAT. Good grief!! She has been running a fever straight since Thursday morning. One of our friends of had roseola, and one of the symptoms is the fever before the rash. I kept her in since Thursday, canceled the mother's helper for Friday and worked outside while Anna Kate napped. We didn't get everything finished on Friday as we had hoped, but Mike was a trooper to work solo all day Saturday.

The front flower beds are beautiful! Mike gets all credit for the work. We got new azelea bushes and planted monkey grass around the border. We also cleared some of the spanish moss and vines from the fence on the side.

It has been a very long weekend, needless to say. Having a cranky sick baby isn't fun! At least we got something productive from this...ANOTHER TOOTH!! Anna Kate is now sporting 10 teeth! Only four more are just under the surface and ready to cut! As soon as the new batteries are recharged again, we'll post pictures of Mike's hard work.
